The touch of the cat

The cat has many tactile receivers , starting with the vibrissa . They are differentiated and innervated hairs that allow them to feel and orient themselves: they are located at the level of the truffle, on the cheeks, the chin, the eyebrows, and on the upper part of the carp.
pads are also equipped with mechanical receivers that allow the cat to feel the smallest vibrations and that it uses when hunting, playing and handling food.
