Temporary homes for refuge cats

This service was set up by Handy, a company that offers DIY services and cleaning, in partnership with an animal welfare association, Wood Green. All cats delivered to the homes of rodent-invading Londoners come from this shelter, which thus finds temporary homes for its small protégés .

"We have more than 200 cats in need of good houses. Some of them will enjoy the benefits of this temporary home environment, until they find homes for life.We hope that this unique service will open people's minds to the positive impact - practical and emotional to have a cute feline at home, "says Juliette Jones, Animal Welfare Consultant for Green Wood.

Pete Dowds, Handy UK Manager, explains that this idea was born from many customer requests
"Our cleaners have been invited to bring cats to scare rodents," he says. "We hope that Londoners will fall in love with some of the mouse hunters who will come to their homes and make their temporary homes permanent homes ".
