Back to the North Sea Dog Show, the first international Dunkirk exhibition
On July 15th and 16th, took place Dunkirk's first international dog show, the North Sea Dog Show. The exhibition organized by the dynamic Club Saint Hubert du Nord was an opportunity to observe dogs that have been subjected to a judgment respecting the criteria of beauty established in a standard, held by the club of race of the country of origin of the breed
The exhibition was attended by 2000 dogs of all breeds. Owners from all over Europe to take part in this great event
The exhibition, with theme "pirate, sailor and pirate" took place in a beautiful maritime environment. Some people played the game and presented themselves on the rings dressed in their most beautiful disguise. Exhibitors had views of the Channel and the beach. What better than air iodized for a weekend?
Dogs Revelation, AllCreatureAnimalClinic , Adaptil, was at the heart of this exhibition thanks to a souvenir photograph offered to exhibitors. More than 500 dogs were photographed by the two talented photographers on the photo studio set up: Frédéric Lhonoré and Coline Derin, two enthusiasts of Cynophilie. Some models have also proved to be real dummies!
The best dogs of the exhibition
For two days, 1825 have parade on the rings and that passed under the judgments of the judges, also from all over Europe. Dogs more elegant than the others: short hairs, long hairs, small, medium or large. There was something for everyone!
But only three dogs won the Best in Show under the judgment of Mr. Gerard Jipping from Holland
We send our sincere congratulations to winners :
- 1st: Frosty Snowman, Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen belonging to Gwen Huikeshoven
- 2nd: Multi CH. Verascott Juicy Couture, Scottish Terrier owned by Christine Hovagimyan
- 3rd: CH. TR. Dante, Italian Braque owned by Pierre Badia
This week, Dunkirk is showing in cinemas, but this weekend, it is well the Cynophilia who reigned on the city!
