Animal Beauty Expo: your discounted ticket

Man has always been fascinated by the animal ... Probably because he is one himself!

The greatest artists, from classical to contemporary, have rendered homage to the animal genre, whether it is wild animals or domestic animals.

exhibition Animal Beauty , at Grand Palais in Paris , assembles all that human genius has been able to devote to the animal genre, in the form of paintings, drawings, photographs, and sculptures.

The respect of the animal

Until 16 July 2012 , this exhibition puts the respect of the animal in the spotlight. " If we respect animals, our survival is assured, but if we let them go, either by negligence or worse by greed and the pursuit of immediate profit, the future of the planet and therefore our own existence , are potentially threatened and doomed to a planned disappearance "says Michel, a cheerful spectator of the exhibition.

The exhibition gathers about 120 masterpieces of the exhibition Western art, from the Renaissance to our days, with a radical and unprecedented bias: show only works where the animal is represented alone and for itself, out of all human presence. This marvelous menagerie, scripted for the sake of clarity and accessibility to all audiences, will mix the wild and the domestic , the strange and the familiar.
